1083NAT Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention
This Silica Training Course is held face-to-face and can also be conducted in your workplace or at our training facility. The program is a classroom-based course outlining all the requirements that should be in place to manage Silica dust in the workplace and minimise the risks to workers’ health. Even, short-term exposure to Crystalline Silica dust can create a long-standing health hazard.
Participants will be able to identify and apply the following knowledge within the context of their job roles for their own safety and the safety of fellow workers and bystanders:

An appropriate level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills are required to enrol in this course. Tomaree Community College may conduct an LLN assessment as part of the pre-enrolment process.

The USI will be available online and at no cost to you. The USI will stay with you for life and be recorded with any nationally recognized VET course that is undertaken from 1st January 2015.

10830NAT Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention is a nationally recognised course. Training is delivered face-to-face over 4 hours. This course describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise the workplace health and safety risks and hazards of working with Silica dust and implementing safe systems of work for the prevention of exposure limiting the effects of silicosis on worker health:
Upon successfully completing the course, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment (SOA)
Collection from office within 7 days after completion.

Enrolment in the course is made at Tomaree Community College Inc a Registered Training Organisation RTO 90348.

Learners who give notice to cancel their enrolment seven (7) days or more prior to the commencement of the training, will be refunded or transferred to a new date.
