SEWING CLASSES – beginner and intermediate courses available – courses are designed to continue on after each 8 week block with moving onto the next level if comfortable to do so.
Learn to sew with Karyn. The beginner classes are structured to enable you to learn from scratch.
You will learn how to use your machine, understand fabrics, construct a bag in one lesson.

By the end of the Beginner course you will then construct a full garment following a pattern. This is done by using all the skills learnt along the way in the first few weeks.
If you are interested in starting a small business/have a small business or sewing for friends and family, this is an interactive course where you will meet new people, make friends, and learn techniques from an experienced sewing instructor
You will need to bring your sewing machine, manual, scissors, tape, quality pins and tread, 2mtr of calico fabric 150cm wide (softer variety is best) with you to class. There is an Overlocker that is available and has been supplied by the college and will be taught during the beginner lessons.
Cost for those that are not eligible for funding are: $250.00.

Sewing to Start a Business – this could be to sell at the markets, repairs, sewing in a workplace, create extra income.
Sewing for Heath & Wellbeing – collaborative group sewing, sharing common interest, channelling creativity on the sewing journey together.
Sewing for Personal Interest this is user pay. $250.00.
