This training program meets the requirements of the OLGR approved industry standard which is a prerequisite for employment within the gaming areas of hotels and registered clubs such as gaming room attendants, managers, licensees and security officers. Even if you do not intend to work in the gaming areas, holding the RCG certificate will mean you can cover breaks and/or shifts for other staff, making you more employable.
This training meets the requirements of the national unit of competency SITHGAM001 Provide responsible gambling services.
Upon successful completion you will be issued with an interim certificate (valid for 90 days), which together with your identity documents will need to be presented to a Service NSW outlet such as the RMS to process your competency card.
