Italian for Beginners

Looking to learn something new? Why not a new language?

This program is aimed at beginners, and will cover the basics including:

• greetings;
• food and drink;
• numbers;
• directions and much more.

With many similarities to Latin and poetic and literary influences shaped in the Tuscan writings of the 12th century, this is a language of romance.

Your tutor will be Melena, a first generation Australian, whose parents originated from Melicucco in Calabria, Italy.  With an Italian major in her Bachelor of Arts Degree, Melena will ensure you get the most out of this program.

An Italian/English Dictionary is recommended for this course.
