Are you wanting to expand your skills to disability support?
This course provides several ways to achieve this. If you already have your Individual Support qualification, then this training skillset will provide you with specialisation units, allowing you to achieve the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
OR, if you simply want to work or volunteer for those with a disability, then this training will assist you in providing effective support.
This course is delivered face to face and online for some assessments. You can commence at any time, with up to 3 months from enrolment to complete, if you would like to do the training entirely online. Your practical assessments will take place in your current workplace and will be assessed by our trainer. Please note: Some of the skillsets can be simulated, others cannot, which means that a workplace must be used to assess competence in some areas, the college can arrange the workplace practical, if you are not currently working in a disability role.
The next Face to Face course commences Tuesday 30th August, 2022, Tues & Weds from 9:30am – 2:30pm, concluding on Wednesday 21st September, 2022. Work placement will take place after the 21st September.
PLEASE NOTE: Enrolment into these courses can only be made with the college administration office, not on-line. For further information or enrolments, call 4984 1011 or email us at: admin@tomareecc.nsw.edu.au. This training is subsidised by the NSW Government, for those who satisfy the eligibility criteria.
