HLTAID012  Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (including CPR, emergency asthma and anaphylaxis management).

This program has been specifically tailored for educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies that may involve infants, children or adults.

  •  Students are required to complete an assessment prior to the commencement of the First Aid course:

This involves reading the course E- Book Text and filling out an assessment work book. The assessment certificate is to be printed by the student and handed into the office prior to day of training.

The details you enter into this form are used by Tomaree Community College to create a student profile which is kept private. We also submit anonymous data to government bodies to ensure we continue to get funding for some of our courses.   • There is a link on our home page. Scroll down the page and click on the link. You will need a form of Identification to get your USI. Types of ID can be: Drivers License, Medicare Card, Australian Passport, Birth Certificate. This number will then be verified by Tomaree Community College with your permission before training can begin. The number must be created by the USI website. This number is not a TAFE or student ID number that may of been previously issued by another organisation. This number cannot be made up by you.
  • If you do not have a home phone number leave blank. Use the work or mobile boxes for contact numbers.
  • The college may need to contact you during business hours please use this number if you are contactable at work.
  • This number will enable us to contact you by TEXT message during business hours or after hours if required. This number can be used to give you information regarding any changes that may occur to your course during these hours.
  • Pension card number, student number or seniors card.
    TCC is required to verify your USI by ticking this agreement you are enabling this process. Information concerning students, including information submitted on this enrolment form will be used by TCC or other authorised organisations for the purpose of general student administration, communication, state and national reporting, program monitoring and evaluation. The information may be disclosed to the National Centre for Vocation Education Research (NCVER) and/or agency authorised to undertake surveys. The provision of this information is necessary for both enrolment and re-enrolment information. Information provided will be held securely and disposed of securely when no longer needed.
