CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care from the Community Services Training Package CHC.

This qualification is regarded as the entry level education required for employment in a variety of settings such as preschools, family day care, long day care or even a child minding service in a recreation centre or gym.
We offer two study options for this course.
Option 1 Blended Learning:
This course will be delivered as a blended learning course and will require students to attend face to face classes (1 day a week) as well as completing online study and assessments.
Option 2 Online Study:
This option allows you to study online in your own time at your own pace.
You be required to complete all theory components including your assessments for this course online.
All delivery methods are fully supported by your trainer as well as the College throughout the course.
You will have up to 12 months to complete your studies if required, this includes the mandatory minimum 120-hour work placement component of the course for both study options, which is arranged for you and supported by your facilitator.

An appropriate level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills are required to enrol in this course. Tomaree Community College may conduct an LLN assessment as part of the pre enrolment process.
USI unique Student Identifier number
The USI will be available online and at no cost to you. The USI will stay with you for life and be recorded with any nationally recognised VET course that is undertaken from 1st January 2015.
Why do I need a USI?
You may need to provide evidence of your academic achievements, for example when applying for a job or to undertake further study.
Everyone undertaking nationally recognised VET courses will need to have a USI to receive their statement of attainment or qualification.
Your USI must be provided to Tomaree Community College before you can receive a statement of attainment or qualification. Tomaree Community College will not be allowed to issue your certificate unless we have your USI recorded.

Successful completion of CHC30113 will allow further study pathways into higher level qualifications such as CHC50113 Diploma of early childhood education and care.
