It is important to note that SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety is a prerequisite for this program and you will need to provide evidence of this prior to commencing this training.
SITHFAB005 Prepare and serve espresso coffee (Barista)
Dispel the myths and learn coffee making skills for working in cafes, bars and restaurants. Tina Smith is a dynamic and experienced trainer and you will thoroughly enjoy this program as you learn about the history of coffee making, different coffee beans, grinding, extracting, texturising milk, coffee styles and how to use a commercial coffee machine.
Upon successful completion you will receive a statement of attainment in SITHFAB005 Prepare and serve espresso coffee.
Delivery: This course is delivered with a blended learning approach, with the practical component to take place face to face at the College, and the theory assessments to be completed online.
You will have up to 4 weeks to submit your theory assessment after the practical component has taken place.
*Please note that you will not receive your certificate until both assessments have been finalised.
