Description
Students are required to complete an assessment prior to the commencement of the HLTAID011 Provide first aid course and provide proof of completion.
Tutor: Christine Klum
Learners undertaking the training in this unit must demonstrate CPR on an adult resuscitation manikin on the floor.
Please note there is a level of physical ability to meet the evidence requirements for assessment. These standards relate to the level of performance required to provide resuscitation and respond to an emergency situation where there may be a risk.
Due to the potential risk to health and safety where a nominated first aider, or worker with duty of care, does not have the ability to perform resuscitation and/or first aid to the performance standard it is not appropriate to issue a statement of attainment to students who are physically unable to meet the assessment requirements.
NOTE: Information for students to make an informed decision to enroll into these courses are advised to read the student handbook and or contact the college administration staff for all full details regarding the training and assessment and all enrollment procedures. Further full information regarding training and assessment for this Unit of Competence can be found at www.training.gov.au
It is important that prospective students are well informed before making the choice to enroll online without speaking to admin staff in person or by phone 02 49841011.
